There are two reasons you may not be able to delete an Asset:
- You may not have the correct User Permissions. Please contact an Administrator, or see the User Roles article.
- Assets cannot be manually deleted if it has been discovered through a provider or probe, this is because the Assets would come back into the system the next time they were discovered.
You can, however, delete the Provider or Probe that they were associated with, this will remove all of the Assets associated with that Provider or Probe. To do this please see How Do I Delete a Provider? or How Do I Delete a Probe?
